Ethical Complaint

REALTORS® subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics. If you believe a member has acted improperly, EPBR provides a clear process to review your concern.

Only members of the National Association of REALTORS® are bound by its Code of Ethics. The Code holds REALTORS® to a high standard of conduct toward clients, the public and one another. Complaints are reviewed fairly and confidentially through the Board’s professional standards process.

The Process

How a complaint works

1

Submit your concern

Contact the Board Office to describe the situation and the conduct involved.

2

Review

The Grievance Committee reviews whether the complaint, if true, may be a violation of the Code.

3

Resolution

If warranted, a professional standards hearing panel considers the matter and issues a decision.
